A chapter of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is functioning in Satyasai Engineering College since 2007. This is a devoted body for the development of quality of technical education throughout the country, with its head office in New Delhi . It organizes technical Seminars and Workshops at regular intervals with main focus on development of communication skill, continuing education programmes and curriculum development.
Satyasai Society for Electronics
The department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering has a student chapter of the Professional Society IETE ( Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) named IETE Student Forum (ISF Chapter) and a student society named Satyasai Society for Electronics. These societies are run and managed completely by the students which improve their leadership and organizing abilities. They inculcate competitive spirit among the students by organizing technical quiz, tech fest, seminars and workshop at regular intervals.
Students of Computer Science department run a Student Chapter of Computer Society of India ( CSI ) at Satyasai Engineering College with members from all branches. There is a Robotic and Machine Intelligence Society Club ( RAMIS Club ) – an organization of creative student members of CSI where they meet periodically to organize seminars, symposium and guest lectures for the benefit of students .
Satyasai Engineering College brings out annual departmental e-magazines with articles contributed by students and faculty members. The faculty members and students manage the editorial and publication work. Further Satyasai Engineering College brings out a Newsletter in January and August. Besides, it publishes weekly e-news bulletin which is uploaded to Satyasai Engineering College website.
Sports and Athletic programmes are an integral part of education. Keeping this in mind Satyasai Engineering College has an Athletic Society. Students and faculty members actively participate in various events including Annual Sports.
Satyasai Engineering College has an NCC wing in which students under the guidance of Defence Personnel (NCC) get an opportunity for this national-level training.
The college has a well organized N.S.S. unit. This is an Institution - Society interface. The unit organizes NSS programmes like blood donation camps, cleanliness drive, drinking water supply to commuters during summer months, plantation work, etc. In addition to this students participate social in service through village level camps. The NSS wing organizes First-Aid-Training Camp for the students. Besides the N.S.S. wing looks after an orphanage. The institute has been bagging the prestigious State and Red Cross awards for several years for donation of highest number of blood samples.
An Entrepreneurship Develop Cell established with grant from AICTE grooms the students with various aspects of Entrepreneurship Development. Eminent professionals from Industry, MSME, DICs, DEI, financial institutes train our student to consider self-employment through their own industries.
